Laurie A. Baker is a member of Meyers Buth Law Group. Laurie has obtained multi-million dollar settlements and verdicts each year since the firm’s founding. These have included awards for a veteran paralyzed in an automobile accident, a veteran who died due to medical malpractice at the Buffalo VA, a child who suffered years-long abuse by a teacher at a local school, and the family of a woman who was killed on a bridge that was in deplorable condition. She has been featured in Super Lawyers Magazine and often speaks at educational seminars to law students and members of the Bar.

Laurie received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Daemen College in 1992. After graduation, she began her professional career as a paralegal at a large firm. She raised three children while working full-time, and in 2006, after 20 years of working alongside attorneys, Laurie decided to become one herself. She went back to school and obtained her law degree from the SUNY Buffalo Law School in 2009.

Having earned a reputation as a tireless worker, she founded her own law firm in 2012 broadening her practice to include real estate, employment litigation and civil defense. Laurie also serves as the Town Prosecutor in Boston Town Court.

Laurie is admitted to practice in New York State and in the United States District Court for the Western District of New York. She is a member of the New York Bar Association, Erie County Bar Association, and Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York, Western New York Chapter.
